 Prince's coverversion of "Red house" - retitled as "Purple house" - was finally released (May 4, 2004) on the Jimi Hendrix tribute album called "Power of Soul". The album features cover versions of Hendrix songs by various artists like Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana with Living Colour singer Corey Glover, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Chaka Khan and Sting.
